The Centre seeks to provide a central reference point for students and staff with interests in philosophical theology, giving news of events and initiatives in the subject across the University.
The Centre for Philosophical Theology has grown out of the Centre for Theology and Modern European Thought, whose activities were for many years overseen by Prof Joel Rasmussen. The Centre aims to continue the traditions of the CTMET, while also ranging more widely, to include work of all kinds in philosophical theology and philosophy of religion.
